Policy: Digital Accessibility Policy
Effective Date: November 1, 2018
Summit Funding, Inc. is committed to making our public-facing electronic and information technology (“EIT”) accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities. This includes Summit’s websites, electronic forms, software, multimedia, and other digital resources and services.
All employees with a role in developing, publishing, or maintaining public-facing EIT are responsible for ensuring those materials meet or exceed relevant accessibility standards.
Summit strives to comply with legal requirements and industry best practices, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, Level AA (“WCAG 2.0, AA”).

This policy applies to public-facing EIT developed, published, or maintained by Summit, including the website and materials contained within it.
Summit intends to conduct periodic monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance with this policy and relevant accessibility standards. This will typically involve quarterly audits and yearly live-testing, with the assistance of outside vendors.
Summit will also include an “Accessibility Statement” on its main website which allows users to submit accessibility-related feedback to Summit via email, telephone, or contact form. Emails and form submissions will be directed to Legal. Telephone calls will go through Corporate Services, which will direct users to the appropriate department.
Summit will make commercially reasonable efforts to investigate and remedy any issues detected through periodic monitoring or user feedback.
If Summit procures or utilizes public-facing EIT from a third party, Summit shall make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure such EIT conforms to this policy.
