Hello there, my name is Kaitlin Ward and I was born and raised right here in Oregon! I came to Eugene in 2006 to attend the University of Oregon where I graduated from in 2010. I fell in love with Eugene and decided to stay put here and make it my new home.
I married my husband Dave a little over five years ago and we have a beautiful daughter named Sophia and our son Ezra who is due in December (2020). My family is everything to me and definitely my “why”. They constantly push me to be the best possible version of myself. Being able to provide for my family with a career in lending has been such an amazing experience. I truly love to help people and I get to do that every single day with this job. Guiding my borrowers through the home buying process or refinancing process brings me great joy. I love giving them the best possible experience and making them feel at ease with the process. I thoroughly enjoy working with the Realtors in this community and my borrowers and many have turned into new friends. Buying a home can be intimidating and stressful at times and it's my job to help curb those tensions and assure everyone involved that we will get to the finish line. I also love working with first time home buyers and really guiding them through the process and putting all the pieces together to get them into the right loan program and home that best suits their lifestyle.
Besides my career in Lending at Summit Funding, my family and I love to spend time with our extended family and friends, BBQ and hang out in our backyard, family bike rides and walks and just trying out the different restaurants in town with our friends. We are laid back and just enjoy each day as it is.
